Fostering

 

RMPR is a 100% foster-based, volunteer rescue. Our dedicated foster families assist in housing and caring for our rescued animals in between adoption events. RMPR’s fostering program is at no cost to you, as we provide all food, supplies, and medical care. Fostering takes dedicated individuals, yet it is truly one of the most rewarding experiences in rescue. Our foster program signup requires a minimum three-week commitment unless medical hold.

 

Generally, within this time frame; your foster animal will have already found its forever family. We encourage fosters to attend events to speak to prospective adopters about their animal(s), although it is not required. If you are interested in fostering please fill out our foster application.

We have tried to keep this site focused on the happy endings and enjoyment of adoption but the truth is, 5,500 dogs are put to death every day because there aren’t enough people to put up their hand and say “they can stay with me until they find a home.”  Please be that person.
